Do you know your website email address?

Your email address, if we have not already informed you otherwise is the one you requested. If you need a reminder of your email address please go to your contact us page and click the email link, you will then be able to see your email address, e.g. enquiries@your-website-address.co.uk

Sending and receiving emails

You have two options available to you to send and receive emails from your website email address, these are webmail and email client software, (e.g. MS Outlook).

"Webmail"

If you want to read your emails online anywhere, anytime, you can do so with your own Webmail.

To access your own webmail go to www.your-site-name.co.uk/webmail
(e.g. www.buildmeawebsite.co.uk/webmail)

Username - your email address is your username (e.g. support@buildmeawebsite.co.uk)
Password - 123456 (This is the default password, you should change this the first time you log in - see notes below)

Once you have logged in you will have a choice of programs to use, they all the do the same job, you will need to decide which you prefer.

To change your password

Go to your webmail account e.g. www.your-site-name.co.uk/webmail
Log in using your username and password
Click the link - [Change Password]
Enter your new password twice and click the 'Change Password' button

"Email Client Software (e.g. MS Outlook)"

If you want to send and receive your emails using your favourite Email Client program you can do using the information below.

Username - your email address is your username (e.g. support@buildmeawebsite.co.uk)
Password - 123456 (This is the default password, you should change this straight away, this can be done by logging in to your webmail account, see above)

Pop Host (incoming mailserver) - mail.your-site-name.co.uk
SMTP Host (outgoing mailserver) - mail.your-site-name.co.uk

NOTE:
Some ISP's (Internet Service Providers) block 3rd party outgoing mailservers (SMTP). If you have problems sending emails please try changing the SMTP (outgoing) Server port in your email client from 25 to 26. If your still having problems try using your ISP's outgoing mailserver (SMTP).
